Postgraduate
<p>The postgraduate program grants admission to holders of Law degrees from Universities in Greece or relevant Schools or Departments of accredited foreign higher education institutes. Graduates from other Schools or Departments of Universities in Greece or accredited foreign higher education institutes may also be considered eligible for admission, following an application submitted by the candidates to the ProgramSteering Committee by the 31st of May of each academic year. The Steering Committee makes a substantiated decision on these applications by the 30th of June at the latest, evaluating the potential of individual candidates to comply with the Programrequirements.</p>
<p>The postgraduate program consists of three (3) academic semesters and has three (3) specializations. For the completion of studies, ninety (90) credits (ECTS) are required. Of these, sixty (60) credits correspond to the courses and thirty (30) credits correspond to the masterthesis. In the first semester eight (8) courses are offered. In the second semester eight (8) courses are offered. Students are required to attend four (4) courses in the first semester and four (4) courses in the second semester. Of these, one (1) compulsory course of the specialization and at least three (3) other elective courses of the same specialization. In the third semester students prepare their masterthesis.</p>

<p>The qualification is a terminal award and allows access to doctoral studies.</p>

<p>3 SEMESTERS, 90 ECTS</p><p>A full academic year is equivalent to 60 ECTS units and each semester to 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) (1ECTS=25-30 hours). Compliance with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) regulations started in 2007, when the Greek Legislation was harmonized with the relevant European one (Ministerial Decision no Φ5/89656/β3, art. 1-3, Hellenic Government Gazette no 1466/2007/B). Each course is credited with a number of ECTS (>=2) according to the studentworkload (contact hours, laboratory work, examination etc) and accumulation of credits (ECTS) is accomplished after successful completion of the course.</p>
