<p>University Bachelor Degree (AEI) or Bachelor Degree from Technical Colleges (TEI) in Greece or abroad (accredited institutions only) </p>
<p>During their studies the post graduate students are obliged to: a) attend 9 courses to complete a total of 90 ECTS and b) write a thesis dissertation (30 ECTS). Overall they are attributed with 120 ECTS. </p><p>Programme΄s Subject </p><p>The Programme΄s subject is research in the field of educational innovation, life-long learning and Education Administration and the development of specialized knowledge and skills in graduate students relating to the fields of educational innovation, lifelong learning and Educational Units Administration. </p><p>Programme΄s Objective </p><p>The Programme΄s objective is to offer its students the necessary research skills, knowledge, experience and professional skills that will enable them to: </p><p>·Lead effectively at all levels of education and lifelong learning institutions </p><p>·Participate, design and evaluate lifelong learning programmes </p><p>·Further study in the field of lifelong learning and adult education </p><p>·Become effective administrators of educational units and organizations </p><p>·Hold posts in both the public and the private sector which encompass the design and implementation of lifelong learning policies, the introduction of educational innovations and the integration and promotion of new technologies in education. </p><p>Learning Outcomes </p><p>Knowledge: Theoretical, methodological and epistemological knowledge regarding Lifelong learning and Leadership in education with an emphasis on strengthening the analysis, synthesis and evaluation of new knowledge. </p><p>Skills: Skills in the design, implementation and evaluation of lifelong learning programmes, the introduction and development of educational innovation, the introduction and promotion of new technologies in education and the effective administration and leadership of educational units. </p><p>Competencies: Graduates will be able to hold positions in design and implementation of lifelong learning programmes and be effective leaders and administrators in educational units and organisations. </p>

<p>Graduation from the Master΄s course allows students to apply for PhD either in Greece or abroad. </p>
<p>A scale of 1 to 10 applies to the marks of each subject in the Hellenic Higher Education. </p><p>Excellent (Arista): 8.50-10 </p><p>Very Good (Lian Kalos): 6.50-8.49 </p><p>Good (Kalos): 6.00-6.49 </p><p>Fail (Anepitychos): 0.00-5.99 </p><p>Minimum passing grade: 6 </p>
<p>4 SEMESTERS, 120 ECTS. </p><p>Two full academic years are equivalent to 120 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) and each semester to 30 ECTS (1 ECTS=25 student work load hours). Compliance with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) regulations started in 2007, when the Greek Legislation washarmonized with the relevant European one (Ministerial Decision no 5/89656/_3, art. 1-3, Hellenic Government Gazette no 1466/2007/B). Each course is credited with a number of ECTS (>=2) according to the student΄s workload (contact hours, laboratory work, examination etc) and accumulation of credits (ECTS) is accomplished after successful completion of course. </p>
