a) A Degree awarded by a Greek public University or by a Technological Education Institute is required or by a foreign Higher Education Institution recognized by D.O.A.T.A.P – Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (Hellenic NARIC).
b) Written and oral exams and interview.
c) Certificate of proficiency in a Foreign Language. In case the applicant does not have a Foreign Language Certification, Foreign Language Exams are carried out
The Master's Degree in 'Learning Technologies - Education Sciences' aims:
a) to empower postgraduate students with the necessary knowledge, experience and skills that will enable them to pursue careers in sectors of the labor market where development and applications of learning technologies are required.
b) to provide students with expertise in digital educational applications that are used in both formal and non-formal education structures, organizations and businesses in the public and private sector.
c) to prepare qualified professionals who will staff universities in the future and promote research in the scientific area of Learning Technologies.
d) to enable postgraduate students to integrate theory, research and practice both as a way of thinking and as a mode of working and ensure optimal training experiences for academic, scientific, research and professional careers, both in Europe and internationally.
e) to contribute in reducing the phenomenon of brain-drain caused by the increasing migration of Greek scientists abroad
According to the Hellenic Republic legislation, graduates of this program are certified in pedagogic and teaching competence.
The qualification is a terminal award and allows access to doctoral studies
A scale of 1 to 10 applies to the marks of each subject in the Hellenic Higher Education.

A full academic year is equivalent to 60 ECTS units and each semester to 30 ECTS (European Credit transfer System) (1 ECTS=25-30 student work load hours). Compliance with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) regulations started in 2007, when the Greek Legislation was harmonized with the relevant European one (Ministerial Decision no Φ5/89656/β3, art. 1-3, Hellenic Government Gazette no 1466/2007/B). Each course is credited with a number of ECTS (>=2) according to the student's workload (contact hours, laboratory work, examination etc) and accumulation of credits (ECTS) is accomplished after successful completion of course
Full-time
