Learning Outcomes
The student is introduced to the basic themes of the Regional Science and the solving methods of regional problems through statistical analysis. Use of PC, basic statements of statistical treatments, use of Internet.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The concept of the Region. Theories about regions. The Region as analysis and programming tool. Definition of various types of regions. Regionalization criteria. Regionalization techniques and models. Regional ant inter-regional networks. The regional planning and analysis problem in contemporary greek reality.
