(a)Comprehension of basic concepts of cognitive psychology and use of graphical and other means of knowledge representation. (b) Application of notions of cognitive psychology to everyday life (c) Use of cognitive psychology methods in research of cognitive phenomena.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The topics covered include concepts of cognitive psychology and specifically the object and methods of cognitive psychology, the definition of knowledge and the forms of representation of knowledge (semantic, imaginal-spatial, temporal, procedural). The course also covers issues related to the architecture of the cognitive system and the distinction between cognition and metacognition. The course requires participation in weekly practicals that aim at the application of theoretical notions to new or everyday situations as well as the proper use of methods of cognitive psychology.

Description
The evaluation is based on two written projects that are being carried out during the semester and presented in power point or poster (40%), and on written final exams (60%).
