Learning Outcomes
Students who succeed in this course should be able to: 1.perform correctly on a keyboard an exercise or part of a musical work with basso continuo. 2.perform a basso continuo using simple ornaments according to the harmonic progression, within the musical style. 3.identify fundamental harmonic and melodic baroque models.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is based clearly on a practical level. Apart from practicing on established harmonic models of the Baroque era,emphasis will be given on the potential of the realization and the figuration of the continuo depending on the type and the character of the piece or part of it, as also on the handling of the problems concerning the notation. The exercises will mainly include partial or whole works of the era.
