Learning Outcomes
The course aims at presenting to the students with the whole discussion relating to the different disciplines involved in the creation and functioning of museums and art galleries. After completion of the course students should comprehend the role of museums and art galleries as spaces for both education and entertainment and the ways this could be achieved having in mind the visitors’ satisfaction. They are taught the ways for a successful transition from studying the exhibition object (archaeological/ archival/ historic/ anthropological material or work of art) and producing knowledge in relation to it, to presenting and transmitting this knowledge in a context that is both intriguing and accessible for a multifaceted audience from different backgrounds with various demands and aims.
