- students are exposed to contemporary British theatre texts (of the post-Beckett period)
- students follow the course of British theatre making after Beckett (examining how his experimentation in the theatre has been reflected / echoed / resisted and carried further in plays of the post-Beckettian period)

Course Content (Syllabus)
. A collection of exemplary dramatic texts (both by Beckett and by post-Beckett playwrights such as Ravenhill, Churchill, Pinter, Crimp, debbie tucker green, Εnda Walsh etc.) form necessary material for analysis and discussion in class.
-Students are provided with additional bibliography on Beckett's work as well as on post-Beckett playwrights
