Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction, Learning Theories, Instructional Design, Lesson Plans, Assessment – theory, Assessment – practice, Educational Technology, Teaching, Teaching Skills, Curriculum.
Seminars and workshops: Plan of a lesson for teaching concepts included in a teaching module of the school manuals of a, b or c grade of the high school (topics, duration, characteristics of students, purpose and objectives, methodology, worksheets with activities of students and instructions to teachers, evaluation sheets). Performing micro-teaching for the assessment of teachers so as to improve their teaching approaches and skills through interaction with a specialized audience (15-minute presentation by students of biological concepts with standard methodology and evaluation of the teaching scheme by other students).
