Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
-Specify grammar and syntax basic aspects of the Biblical Hebrew language
-Use the Biblical Hebrew basic vocabulary by analyzing texts of central importance, such as the Sema (Deut 6), Gen 1, etc.
-Practice reading and linguistic analysis of biblical texts
-Get acquainted with rabbinic prayer texts and hymns
-Apply linguistic skills for understanding Romoniotes and Sephardic jewish traditions
-Develop communication skills within the context of theological dialogue related to diversity issues

Course Content (Syllabus)
The purpose of the course is to learn the language of the original Old Testament text. Vocabulary, Grammar, Syntax. Acquaintance with the cultural environment of the time, also, the greek Romaniot and Sephardic Judaism in Greece.
