Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:
-understand the linguistic dimension of social and political phenomena applied in French-speaking contexts
-have the ability and use a sound theoretical framework and methodology in explaining their positions in French
- be able to create a complete written text in French and analyze texts in that language.
- develop oral arguments in French.
Course Content (Syllabus)
This Course provides students with concepts and methods in discourse analysis as well as analyses of socio-discursive phenomena in contemporary French.
