<p>A Degree awarded by a Greek public University or by recognized foreign Institution of equivalent status or by a Technological Education Institute is required. </p>

<p>The objective of English-taught Master’s program is to provide postgraduate-level education and specialized expertise to higher education graduates in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.</p><p>The purpose of the M.Sc. program is to advance knowledge and research in Management Science, Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Global Procurement and Production Networks. This is achieved through the completion of postgraduate theses and doctoral dissertations, as well as participation in national, European, and international research projects funded by national and international organizations. Furthermore, the program aims to establish itself among the top Master’s programs in Europe within the field, fostering connections with European and global academic networks.</p><p>The program focuses on developing specialized scientists and preparing professionals for careers as Logistics Managers, Materials Planners / Inventory Managers, Purchasing Managers, Transportation and Distribution Managers, Warehouse Managers and Executives, Supply Chain Managers across all industrial, commercial, and service sectors, both in Greece and abroad.</p><p>The duration for the award of the Master’s Degree is set at three (3) semesters. During their studies, students are required to attend eleven (11) core courses and complete a master’s thesis during the third semester. Alongside their thesis, students must attend a specialized research seminar. Attendance is mandatory, and evaluation is based on a combination of examinations and assignments. All courses, exams, and student assignments are conducted exclusively in English.</p><p>Upon completion of the programme, graduates are also able to: 1) apply theory in practice, 2) effectively communicate in a foreign language 3) research, process, analyse and synthesize information with the use of appropriate techniques, 4) adapt to novel situations and decision making, 5) work independently or in groups in international and/or interdisciplinary contexts, 6) generate new research ideas, design and manage projects, 7) respect diversity, multiculturalism and the natural environment, 8) demonstrate social, professional and moral responsibility and sensitivity to gender issues, 9) reflect on themselves and on others critically, 10) promote free, inductive and deductive thinking.</p>

<p>Professional qualification is not applicable in the public or private sector. </p>

<p>The qualification is a terminal award and allows access to doctoral studies. </p>

<p>A scale of 1 to 10 applies to the marks of each subject in the Hellenic Higher Education. </p>

<p>3 SEMESTERS, 90 ECTS </p><p>A full academic year is equivelant to 60 ECTS units and each semester to 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) (1 ECTS = 25-30 student work load hours). </p><p>Compliance with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) regulations started in 2007, when the Greek Legislation was harmonized with the relevant European one (Ministerial Decision no Φ5/89656/Β3, art.1-3, Hellenic Government Gazette no 1466/2007/B). Each course is credited with a number of ECTS (>=2) according to the student΄ s workload (contact hours, laboratory work, examination , etc) and accumulation of credits (ECTS) is accomplished after successful completion of the course. </p>
