<p>Upper Secondary Degree (six years of studies). National Level Examination. </p>

<p>The professional qualifications of Civil Engineers are determined and guaranteed by the Law 4663/1930 Hellenic Government Gazette 149 A/9.5.1930: the exercise of the profession of the Civil Engineer, the Architect and the Survey EngineerThe prescribed by the Law 1225/1981, Hellenic Government Gazette 340 A/31-12-1981 professional license is granted by the Technical Chamber of Greece. </p>

<p>The qualification is a terminal award and allows access to postgraduate studes (2nd and 3rd cycle). </p>

<p>A. A scale of 1 to 10 applies to the marks of each subject in the Hellenic Higher education.</p><p>Άριστα (Arista) Excellent: 8.50 - 10.00</p><p>Λίαν Καλώς (Lian Kalos) Very Good: 6.50 - 8.49</p><p>Καλώς (Kalos) Good: 5.00 - 6.49</p><p>Ανεπιτυχώς (Anepitychos) Fail: 0 - 4.99</p><p>Minimum passing grade: 5.00</p>

<p>10 Semesters 300 ECTS.</p><p>A full academic year is equivalent to 60 ECTS units and each semester to 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) (1ECTS= 25-30 student work load hours according to the Greek Law 1466/13-8-2007, Nr 5/89656/B3, art. 1,2,3). Each course is credited with a number of ECTS (>=2) according to the student΄s work load (contact hours, laboratory work, examination etc) and its accumulation is accomplished after its successful completion.</p>
