Prerequisites
General Prerequisites
The course is given in the field where students are able to use the geophysical equipment of the Geophysical Laboratory concerning applied geophysical methods (seismics, electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic methods) as well as seismological instruments. They are educated in organizing the fieldwork, collecting and interpreting data and finally evaluate the results.
Learning Outcomes
Students are able to organize the fieldwork and succeed to the data collection in the most part of the basiv geophysical and seismological methods. They are trained to the use of geophysical instruments of the Geophysical Laboratory.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Students get familiar with instruments on Applied Geophysics to the following methods: 1.Electrical methods (mapping, sounding and electrical resistivity tomography, 2. Magnetic methods (total field, gradiometry), 3. Seismics (refraction, reflection).
They also are trained to the use of seismological instruments (seismographs and accelerometers).
