Learning Outcomes
After successfully attending the course the postgraduate student should be capable of : • Conceiving the severity of water problems at international, regional and local levels and recognizing their relations to the more general environmental problems • Understanding the basic principles of sustainable water management policies as well as their economic and social aspects and recognizing and being familiar with the corresponding techniques • Dealing with and solving problems regarding the exploitation, protection and rehabilitation of water systems in the context of the holistic approach of ecosystems.
