Training to the study of texts of the French novel production

Course Content (Syllabus)
Taken into account the literary species, it is studied the French novel production over the centuries, combining the history of literature with poetic issues. The course proposes an historical itinerary of the French production from the Middle Ages to the French Revolution. It aims to aware students on the particularities of this specific production, i.e. problems posed by the novel, evolution and modification of the species, structure vs. sense, component elements. The study of representative fragments and the learning specific terms for the study of a novel are included.
