Learning Outcomes
Fundamentals of wireless networks, physical, MAC, networks and transport layer issues, study of wireless network technologies and current standards. The student will acquire knowledge on the area of wireless networks. Practice in solving ex-ercises based on taught theory. Practice via participation in laboratory exercises on wireless networks.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to wireless networks, the MAC layer, wireless cellular networks, wireless local area networks, personal area networks, wide area wireless networks, satellite networks, routing algorithms in ad-hoc networks, MobileIP, TCP in wireless networks, wireless push sys-tems.
