Course Content (Syllabus)
A. Coaching/managing child behaviour: 1. Contents of Pediatric Dentistry. Physical growth, mental development & psychological maturation. 2. The dental experience. Fear and anxiety. 3. The guidance of the child's behaviour 4. Communicative behaviour management of children's behavioral 5. Pharmacological behaviour management (sedation/general anesthesia) B. Laboratory knowledge Pediatric Dentistry: 6. Anatomical differences of deciduous and permanent teeth 7. The use of rubber dum. 8. Sealants and preventive resin restorations 9. Teeth preparation for direct restorations on primary dentition 10. Prefabricated stainless steel crowns 11. Prepare for pulpotomy and teeth root canal treatment of deciduous tooth 12. Teeth immobilization after dental injury 13. Space retainers
