Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction, - Characteristics of measuring devices, -Transducers, -Calibration of measuring devices, -Design of experiments, -Data acquisition, -ADC and DCA devices, - Signal conditioning, - Statistical analysis, - Data fitting, - Advanced non-intrusive measuring techniques.

Description
Multi-media are used for the lectures. Students are learning to operate software for controling measuring equipments and for data acquisition. “Blackboard”, a course management system, is used for posting announcements, giving instructions and delivering lecture notes.

Description
Towards the mid of the term the students are assigned a project which deals with the design, organization and performance of an experiment that concerns the study of a physical quantity. The final grade is the average of the oral(50%) and the written (50%) presention of the aforementioned project. Quiz given through Blackbord platform.
