Learning Outcomes
The scope of the course is the introduction of concepts and methods of probability and statistics, which are useful in problems of chemical engineering. Focus is given on the practical approach of real problems. 3 Labs on SPSS statistics software will help to solve problems of Chemical engineering. Several projects will be conduced by the students that will learn and present in the class some applied sections of statistics.
General Competences
  • Apply knowledge in practice
  • Retrieve, analyse and synthesise data and information, with the use of necessary technologies
  • Adapt to new situations
  • Make decisions
  • Work autonomously
  • Work in teams
  • Generate new research ideas
  • Advance free, creative and causative thinking
