Course Content (Syllabus)
Map use and map space recognition. Use of primary and derived maps. Distributions and Map Series. The role of projection, scale and generalization. Accuracy of geometric and thematic map content. Cartographic process, use, and playback errors. Checks and evaluates content. Mapping. Mapping analysis and applications in automated cartography and geographic information systems. Useful analysis and interpretation of cartographic features. Special-purpose maps. Characteristics, transformations and uses of the Greek series of maps. Map and Map Automation applications
