Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to concepts of cultural heritage and tradition: monument, archaeological site, museum, historical center, movable and immovable findings. Institutions and cultural heritage institutions. Chart the progress of Greek civilization from the prehistoric to the Byzantine era. Comparisons and interactions of cultures in the Mediterranean. Examination of representative monuments, findings, sites. The cultural heritage and young children. Reasons for its usefulness in applications related to preschool education. Interdisciplinarity and experiential education.
