Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the students will:
1) Understand and distinguish the kinds of diffential equations and difference equations,
2) Be able to solve the kinds of difference equations and differential equations which are included in the syllabus,
3) To know and apply differential equations and difference equations to solve problems
Course Content (Syllabus)
Difference equations (linear difference equations of first, second or higher order, stability), linear systems of difference equations. 1st order Differential Equations (separation of variables, homogeneous, linear, Bernoulli, Riccati), exact differential equation of 1st order, integrating factor, linear differential equations of 2nd or higher order, linear differential equations of Euler, linear systems of differential equations. Applications of difference equations and differential equations.
