The problem of scaling in living organisms. Equilibrium of rigid bodies: forces and torques. Work- Energy-metabolism. Fluid mechanics. Oscillations and waves. Sound waves. Geometrical Optics- Optical devices – Laser. Temperature and Heat. Χ-rays. Bioelectricity

Student Assessment
Description
The student performance is assessed via a written final examination at the end of the semester. The students are asked to handle questions on theory and exercises. The individual subjects are equivalent in terms of the credit points. The examination is typically 2-3 hours long. The examination schedule is issued by the School of Pharmacy. There is provision for oral examination or examination on a term-paper for students from abroad or with disabilities (as determined by the Greek law)
