With successful completion of the course, Postgraduate students will be able to recognize all types of benign and malignant tumors that manifest in the region, with a focus on their clinical presentation, diagnostic approaches, and the various therapeutic options.

Course Content (Syllabus)
One of the core courses in the postgraduate program focuses on the oncology of the salivary glands. Postgraduate students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all types of benign and malignant tumors in the region, understanding their clinical presentation, diagnostic approaches, and therapeutic interventions. Special emphasis will be placed on the interdisciplinary approach, essential in various therapeutic protocols, aiming for the optimal treatment selection tailored to individual patient needs.
Additionally, the course will analyze the peculiarities of recurrences, emphasizing the significance of preserving or not the facial nerve in malignant tumors. The facial nerve is considered a critical anatomical structure at risk during surgical interventions in the parotid region.
