General Prerequisites
The course includes the teaching of the necessary basic electronics theory, but prior knowledge of electrical circuit theory, entry-level electronics theory, and experience in operating basic electronic measurement instruments (oscilloscope, signal generator) are extremely useful for successful completion of the course.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: - Construct basic electronic circuits that include diodes, transistors and operational amplifiers - Perform electronic measurements, using appropriate instruments, on basic electronic circuits - Analyze the operation of basic electronic circuits - Use simulation software to analyze the operation of electronic circuits

Course Content (Syllabus)
- Introduction to electronic circuit performance measurements. - Diode Circuits, AC Rectification Circuits - Switching Circuits with Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT). - Amplifiers with Bipolar Transistors. - Linear Circuits with Operational Amplifiers (Amplifiers, Integrators) - Nonlinear Circuits with Operational Amplifiers (Comparators, Pulse Generators) - Use of a simulator (e.g. Multisim) for the analysis of the operation of electronic circuits.

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation procedure, the evaluation criteria and the weighting of each criterion are defined in a clear and detailed way, and are written in the laboratory's "Οperations Manual", which are published on the course's page in the "elearning" system of the university. They are also sent by email to all students before the beginning of the course. Specifically, the final course grade is calculated from the individual grades as follows: 1)average simulation score (reports) = 20%, 2)average lab work score (assignments) = 20%, 3)instructor's evaluation of experimental skills = 20%, and 4)final exam grade = 40%.
