Learning Outcomes
After completing the courses and successfully passing the exam, students will be familiar with basic concepts of investment appraisal and the investment environment. They will be able to understand the time value of money and will have acquired basic knowledge regarding lending and loan repayment for project investments (as well as resources, e.g. machinery). Students will become familiar with the techniques and tools for evaluating investments from the investor's perspective through investment evaluation indicators (Net Present Value - NPV, Internal Rate of Return - IRR, etc.). They will be able to understand the evaluation of investments from the perspective of the State through the social analysis of the cost benefits of infrastructure projects. Students will understand the concept of asset management by applying economic valuation models for real estate. They will become familiar with all the necessary steps that must be followed to carry out an expropriation.
