Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course students are expected to: Get in touch first with teaching and pedagogical approaches to the use of digital technologies in language education and modern, contemporary cross-disciplinary approaches. To know the models of integrating digital technologies at both the macro and micro levels and understand the introduction of digital technologies to broader issues such as the society of the knowledge and creativity. To know the basic stages in the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process and especially in the teaching / learning of Information Technologies through an overview of both international and greek experience. Understand the importance and role of digital technologies in language education / training and be able to produce appropriate content and materials for language education / training. During the course, students, systematically involved in teaching-pedagogical exercises, develop learning strategies utilizing the above knowledge with the goal of applying them to the language classroom.

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation is done with assignments during the semester. Students undertake each task individually (usually in developing content using software tools). The evaluation criteria are: technical excellence, scientific / theoretical support, originality and completeness / variety of content. Works submitted to the teacher and if need there be returned to students with suggestions to make corrections or other major or minor improvements. The evaluation is done by continuous monitoring approach.
