Course Content (Syllabus)
Basic operation principles of a modern diagnostic lab and interpretation of the tests results - Quality assurance, purification and analysis methods, sampling and preservation of biological speciments. Modern analytical technoques, automated analyzers, instrumental analysis, immunological methods, genetic diagnosis. Laboratory test of proteins, amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids, enzymes. Evaluation of myocardial infarction, cardiovascular and liver function (cirrhosis, jaundice) risk assesment.
