Course Content (Syllabus)
1. A synoptic history of the Orthodox Church today, 2. Ecclesiastical Policy and Diplomacy (meaning-bibliography), 3. The interorthodox and interchristian work of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the 20th and 21st centuries and its ecclesiastical policy, 4-5-6. The ecclesiastical policy of the Ecumenical Patriarchs Athenagoras, Demetrios and Bartholomeos, 7. USA and Orthodoxy in the peninsula of Aimos in the 21st century, 8-9. The issue of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem in the years 2004-2005, 10. Issues of ecclesiastical policy and diplomacy in the Presbyterian Patriarchates, 11-12. Ecclesiastical policy and diplomacy of the Archbishop Iakovos of America in the USA and in Greece, and their contribution to national issues, 13. Lecture.
