•Introduction - ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) •Short historical overview of the evolution of computers - Von Neumann architecture •Hardware - Computer software - Operating systems •Installation and use of greek polytonic keyboard - Greek polytonic fonts •Networks - Internet: Web-based production and collaboration tools •Introduction to learning platforms - Moodle learning platform •eLearning •Google Apps for Education: Desktop applications - Teaching support applications •Collaboration and video conferencing tools •Capture, edit and streaming of video lectures •Open courses from international universities •Digital databases - Digital educational repositories.
