Learning Outcomes
In this course, the stages of placentation and fetal development will be described clearly and comprehensively, knowledge particularly useful for understanding major pathological conditions in pregnancy.

Course Content (Syllabus)
In order to understand the abnormalities of the developing fetus and the pathological conditions that can occur in pregnancy, a complete familiarity with the physiological processes that take place during the development of the fetus is required. In this course, the stages of placentation and fetal development will be described clearly and comprehensively, knowledge particularly useful for understanding major pathological conditions in pregnancy.
