At the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) Congress held on September 1, 2017, in Krakow, Poland, within the framework of the 14th European Men's Volleyball Championship, Ι was formally announced as being one of the nine new members of the CEV European Coaches Commission based in Luxembourg, which until now had only male members. It is the first time in the history of CEV to choose a woman for the European Coaches Commission, while for the first time our country is represented in this particular committee, where I will be the only woman among eight acclaimed and distinguished male coaches from various European countries. The Commission's aim is to develop projects for the development of volleyball in schools and clubs, to disseminate teaching materials across Europe and, in particular, to support National Federations by creating a European network for the improvement of coaches and volleyball at all levels.
