<p>A Degree awarded by a Greek public University or by recognized foreign Institution of equivalent status or by a Technological Education Institute is required. </p>

<p>The objective of this program is to produce knowledge, expertise, methodologies, operational tools and in general to conclude in research results in the field of Economics . It is aiming to the postgraduate specialization of the participants that leads to the obtaining of the Masters Degree in Economy . </p><p>The duration of the program is 3 semesters. To obtain the Postgraduate Degree, it is mandatory to successfully pass the examinations in ten (10) modules (seven -7- compulsory and three -3- elective). </p><p>At the end or the 3rd semester students have to submit a dissertation. </p><p>All lectures are full time, having three teaching hours weekly and are in Greek language only. </p><p>The examination of the courses is performed in writing or through essays. </p><p>The master΄s degree is an average rating of the courses and the dissertations degree. </p><p>The aim of this program is to promote research in cognitive fields of economic science. </p>

<p>Professional qualification is not applicable in the public or private sector. </p>

<p>The qualification is a terminal award and allows access to doctoral studies. </p>

<p>A scale of 1 to 10 applies to the marks of each subject in the Hellenic Higher Education </p>

<p>3 SEMESTERS, 90 ECTS </p><p>A full academic year is equivelant to 60 ECTS units and each semester to 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) (1 ECTS = 25-30 student work load hours). </p><p>Compliance with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) regulations started in 2007, when the Greek Legislation was harmonized with the relevant European one (Ministerial Decision no Φ5/89656/Β3, art.1-3, Hellenic Government Gazette no 1466/2007/B). Each course is credited with a number of ECTS (>=2) according to the student΄ s workload (contact hours, laboratory work, examination , etc) and accumulation of credits (ECTS) is accomplished after successful completion of the course. </p>
