<p>a) Written exam in one of the three fields of study (a. Society, Education and Pedagogy, b. Teaching of Language and Literature, c. Teaching of Sciences) </p><p>b) Certified proficiency in English, French or German or written exams in one of these languages. </p>

<p>The MA title is awarded to students who have attended sufficiently 4 academic semesters. Attendance is compulsory in the first 3 semesters, while in the fourth semester students write up their Dissertation (Master΄s Thesis). </p><p>Class attendance is obligatory no more than 3 absences are allowed for each course. A student passes a course if he/she has attended sufficiently and has received a pass grade (6-10) in the final assessment. </p><p>Before the end of the third semester, students select and propose a topic for their dissertation (Master΄s Thesis) in consultation with the supervisor. The topic must correspond to the field of study. </p><p>The dissertation is submitted at the end of August and publicly supported by the end of October. </p>

<p>For professional employment in the public or private sector, graduates are covered with the MA Degree. </p>

<p>Access to doctoral degree. </p>

<p>Grading scale is as follows (Υ.Α. Φ. 1231/Β1/425, ΦΕΚ 1099/2000/B, άρθρ. 60):: </p><p>Excellent (8.5-10), (Α) </p><p>Very good (6.50-8.49), (Β) </p><p>Good (6-6.49), (C) </p><p>Fail (0.00-5,99) (F) </p><p>The minimum passing grade is six. </p>

<p>4 full exams, 120 ECTS </p><p>A full academic year of studies is equivalent to sixty (60) ECTS, each semester to thirty (30) ECTS (1 ECTS= 25-30 hours) in accordance with the Greek Law (Ministerial Decision Φ5/89656/Β3, ΦΕΚ 1466/2007/Β, article 1-3) and the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System. Each course carries the required number of ECTS (>= 2 ), which reflects the required work load for the successful completion of the course, lab, practicum, etc. </p>
