<p style="text-align:justify;">The Program of Postgraduate Studies "Surgical Oncology of the Skin, Soft Tissues, Vascular Anomalies" accepts graduates of the Departments of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Psychology, holders of first-cycle titles of National Universities or accredited Foreign High Education Institutions. </p><p style="text-align:justify;">Students admission is based on a rating of their documented qualifications and interview.</p>
<p>For the acquisition of the Postgraduate Specialization Degree “Surgical Oncology of the Skin, Soft Tissues, Vascular Anomalies”, postgraduate students are required to successfully complete the 3-semester course, which corresponds to 90 ECTS (Ministerial Decision 67145/B7, Hellenic Government Gazette 1889/2007/Β7). Τhey have to attend and be successfully examined in 9 subjects (Background-General Knowledge, Scientific Field, Skills Development), which are allocated as follows: a) In the 1st semester (30 ECTS) - 4 subjects and b) In the 2nd semester (30 ECTS) - 5 subjects. In the 3th semester (30 ECTS) they design and accomplish their Postgraduate Thesis, which they present in public and, subsequently, are examined. </p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#151B1E;">Graduates of the MSc “Surgical Oncology of the Skin, Soft Tissues, Vascular Anomalies”</span> will be able to work in positions of public and private sectors, which require specialized knowledge in the subject of “Surgical Oncology of the Skin, Soft Tissues, Vascular Anomalies”.</p>
<p>The qualification is a terminal award and allows access to doctoral studies.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The grading scale by which the students’ performance is calculated within the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Study Program is based on a 10-point scale (Ministerial Decision Φ.1231/Β1/425, article 60, Government Gazette 1099/2000/B): </p><p style="text-align:justify;">Άριστα (Arista) Excellent: 8.50-10.00</p><p style="text-align:justify;">Λίαν Καλώς (Lian Kalos) Very Good : 6.50- 8.49</p><p style="text-align:justify;">Καλώς (Kalos) Good : 6.00-6.49</p><p style="text-align:justify;">Minimum passing grade : 6 (AUTH Rule of Procedure Α.Π.Θ., no 127/2-2-11)</p><p style="text-align:justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>3 SEMESTERS, 90 ECTS</strong></p><p style="text-align:justify;">A full academic year of study is equivalent to 60 ECTS units (European Credit Transfer System) and each semester to 30 ECTS (1 ECTS= 25-30) (Compliance of Greek Legislation, Ministerial Decision Φ5/89656/B3, Government Gazette 1466/2007/B, article 1-3, with the European one). Each course is assigned the number of required ECTS (>= 2) that expresses the workload required by the student for the completion of the course, laboratory, tutorial, internship, etc.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Full-time</p><p style="text-align:justify;">Part-time attendance is provided only to students who are proven to be working at least 20 hours a week, or in severe cases as illness, workload, serious family reasons, military conscription, reasons of force majeure.</p>
