Study Guide

<p>Holders of first cycle degrees from universities in Greece and recognized similar institutions abroad are admitted to the MSc (article 34, paragraphs 1, 7 and 8 of Law 4485/2017). In particular, graduates of the Departments of Medicine, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Pedagogical Departments are admitted to the MSc, of the Greek and foreign language Departments of Philology and other related Departments and Faculties of the Greek and foreign universities and similar recognized institutions abroad and generally graduates of other scientific fields of particular interest to neuroscience and its evolutionary application.</p>

<p>In order to obtain the Diploma of Postgraduate Studies, students are required to attend and pass the compulsory courses, the elective courses and the Postgraduate Diploma Thesis.</p>

<p>No professional registration in the public or private sector is applicable, the MasterDegree is sufficient.</p>

<p>Access to doctoral studies.</p>

<p>Grading scheme, grade distribution guidance (in original language): A scale of 1 to 10 applies to the marks of each subject in the Hellenic Higher Education. The grading scheme for the qualification of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Study Program follows the following distribution: (Ministerial Decision no Φ.1231/Β1/425 art.60, Hellenic Government Gazette no 1099/2000/B):</p><p>Άριστα (Arista) Excellent: 8.50-10.00</p><p>Λίαν Καλώς (Lian Kalos) Very Good: 6.50- 8.49</p><p>Καλώς (Kalos) Good: 6.00-6.49</p><p>Minimum passing grad: 6 (AUTH Rule of Procedure Α.Π.Θ., no 127/2-2-11).</p>

<p>4 SEMESTERS, 120 ECTS</p><p>A full academic year of study is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) and a full semester to 30 ECTS (1 ECTS = 25-30 hours) (Harmonization of Greek Legislation, Y.A. Φ5/89656/B3, Government Gazette 1466/2007/B, art. Each course is assigned the number of required ECTS (>= 2) which expresses the workload required from the student for the completion of the course, laboratory, tutorial, practical training, etc.</p>

<p>Intensive full-time or part-time attendance.</p>
