<p>Eligible candidates for admission to the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program (Δ.Π.Μ.Σ.) must hold a first-cycle degree from a Highest Education Institution (A.E.I.), either from Greece or a recognized foreign institution. Priority is given to candidates with an academic background in social and human sciences, in accordance with the provisions of Law 4957/2022. Exceptionally, holders of degrees from other disciplines may also be admitted, subject to a well-justified decision by the Program’s Academic Committee, provided that they either hold a postgraduate degree in the social or human sciences or possess significant experience relevant to the field of the program, particularly in the management of mass migration.</p>

<p>The Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program of the Schools of Social and Economic Sciences and Law aims to provide high-level postgraduate education in the management of mass migration and populations in mobility. The program seeks to advance scientific knowledge and meet the country’s educational, research, and developmental needs in the field of mass migration and its management.</p><p>It awards a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma (Μ.Δ.Ε.), certifying that graduates are qualified to occupy specialized positions in the private and public sectors, research and educational institutions, or to establish their own innovative enterprises.</p><p>The Postgraduate Specialization Diploma also affirms students’ competence in managing migration and refugee flows through perspectives of law, national and European policy, international relations, economics, administrative structures, communication, and intercultural mediation, thereby enabling them to adopt a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to related issues.</p><p>To obtain the Postgraduate Specialization Diploma in "Management of Mass Migration and Populations in Mobility," students must acquire a total of ninety (90) ECTS credits within the maximum duration of four semesters. Sixty (60) ECTS credits are obtained through coursework, and thirty (30) ECTS credits through the completion of a master’s thesis or field dissertation during the third semester, which is evaluated by a three-member examination committee.</p><p>The award of the PSD requires successful completion of advanced-level courses with increased academic demands. Attendance of lectures is mandatory with minimal permitted absences, and student evaluation is continuous throughout the semester. Assessment methods include individual and group assignments at regular intervals, presentations of research articles, laboratory exercises, and written examinations. During thesis preparation, students work on research topics with the aim of producing original academic outcomes.</p>

<p>3 SEMESTERS, 90 ECTS</p><p>A full academic year of study corresponds to 60 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), while a full semester corresponds to 30 ECTS credits (1 ECTS = 25–30 hours of student workload). Each course is allocated the required number of ECTS credits (? 2), which reflect the total student workload necessary for the completion of the course, laboratory, seminar, internship, etc.</p>
