This semester is of crucial importance to the continuation of studies. At this stage, students begin to delve deeply into their studies and settle on certain ways of visual research. Having acquainted themselves with a wide range of media, they have now selected those which better serve their needs. It is at this very point that they might even find themselves dreaming about ways of expression that actually contradict their work so far.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Painting Laboratory 3 is fully equipped to support numerous research options. Students are given the opportunity to select external visitors who will assist them with their research as well as approach certain issues pertaining to the history of art. In each semester, Painting Laboratory 3 organises visits to museums, galleries, co-operation with other Departments of the School of Fine Arts, such as the Department of Photography. Furthermore, in co-operation with other Departments of the School for Fine Arts, the Laboratory hosts a number of lectures on special issues by prominent artists and organises student theme exhibitions.
