~ practice in critical reading;
~ attempt to detect aspects of poetic production which have not been studied particularly critical, as it insists highlights (not unfairly) the importance of History.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The main purpose of the course is to present the particular poetics with which some of the major poets of the so-called First Post-War Generation express the "hard times", the "death landscape" of the Post-war period and their contemporary existential agony.
Apart, then, from enhanced realistic expression of poetry that has already been observed by critics and scholars, a poetic more lyrical and introverte, constructed through transformative processes and various techniques of defamiliarization has been articulated by some poets.
