Course Content (Syllabus)
The heat transfer course contains the following topics: Conduction, Fourier's Law, Thermal conductivity of solids, fluids and gases, Temperature field and the Heat diffusion equation, One-dimensional, steady-state heat conduction,heat conduction from Fins; Transient heat conduction; Convection; Boiling and Condensation; Heat Exchangers; Number of Transfer Units (NTU), Thermal radiation.
