Prerequisites
General Prerequisites
The student should be familiar with the basic principles of Hydraulics ( closed conduits and open channels) and of Water supply, Sewerage ans storm water systems.
Learning Outcomes
After the successfull completion of the course the student will be able to: (1) design and analyse water supply, wastewater and stormwater sytems using available computer programs EPANET, SWMM) (2) design hydraulic structures which are used in such systems ( storage tanks, valves, siphons, manholes etc). (3) analyse, assess and manage the risk associated with such systems.
