Courses Plan taught in the first year of the direction of workshops aimed at training and research students by providing knowledge and methodological tools that will lead gradually to:
-Ability To organize and transmit knowledge laboratory on the project by providing methodological tools.
-Ability Teaching plan and organize project workshops.
- Knowledge to distinguish his / her student / her expressive, perceptual, psychological, sociological characteristics of visual morphology of work produced through the creative process and reading of the draft.
-Develop Skills in the handling of classic design tools.
Connection of the preparations made by the student / her for admission to the Department with the object of study of the laboratory.
-Ability Processing a visual idea or capture reality with simple means.
-Ability Consolidation form and content of the art product that claims to have artwork.
-Exoikeiosi Terminology of visual arts at the technical and theoretical level.
-Development Of imagination and creativity for the technical implementation in their work.
-The Ability to organize, establish and communicate via the "language" of the visual arts, visual representations and representations that respond expressively to individual and social perceptions.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Drawing I & II: Theory and Experience. Historical and Conceptual Drawing.
When is a drawing becoming an object rather than an image?
How can a line leave the paper and become "action"?
Can a drawing tell a story?
These questions and many more will guide the course of the students work. The cycle of activities for Drawing aims to the understanding of the history of Drawing as the foundation of artistic and not only education in modernity, but also of its contemporary status as an opportunity to present personal ideas and innovative new forms. Historical examples of art, the “encyclopaedism” of drawing bystanders, typography and non art equivalent formats such as maps, educational charts, computer graphics as well as all kinds of urban shapes and formats (signs- codes) will be introduced as standards for weekly assignments and mid-term projects.
