Course Content (Syllabus)
Theory: 1. Historic evolution of Environmental Education (E.E), 2.Principles and Objectives in EE, 3.Different approaches of the concepts “Environment” and “Education”, 4. Knowledge, Values, Views, Attitudes and Behaviour, 5. Design, Application and Assessment of EE programs, 6. Assessment – criteria, 7. Educational Methodology and use of Projects, 8. Special programs towards the public awareness and elements of Social Ecology.
Laboratory Exercises: 1.Educational Methods in E.E. and their application. 2.Special plays for the understanding from pupils of environmental concepts 3.Presentation and assessment of existent environmental educational material 4. Design and production of educational material.
