Course Content (Syllabus)
1.Historical evolution of the sport – equipment 2.Table tennis rules 3.Racket grips, ready position, footwork 4.Familiarization drills and games, acquisition of table tennis strokes without spin (forehand, backhand, service) 5.Learning of the offensive table tennis strokes (forehand, backhand) 6.Learning of table tennis strokes with backspin (forehand, backhand) 7.Learning of table tennis strokes with topspin (forehand, backhand) 8.Learning of blocking table tennis strokes (forehand, backhand) 9.Practice of the acquired strokes – learning of the service with side spin 10.Practice of the acquired strokes – long distance defense 11.Introduction to doubles game – rules 12.Tactics of singles and doubles game 13.Practice on singles and doubles game situations.
