Learning Outcomes
This course builds knowledge of regional development theory as a guide to regional economic development planning and policy making. Through readings, seminar discussions, and assignments, students will deepen their understanding for: regions and how regions are defined; methods and approaches of measurement; regional development theories; regional development policy, performance, and politics; and put into practice through real world case studies.
