Students will - get familiar with the fundamental terms in SP - comprehend the ways with which SP contributes to the maximization of training results and top performace in competitions - comprehend the established theretical approches of SP and the suggested techniques. - connect theory to practice through exercises in class - be sensitive to the variety of human factors present in training and competitions. - get aquainted with a variety of techniques suggested in order to maximize the effects of training sessions for competitions - comprehend what psychological inteventions are scientifically sound and what conntitutes a myth, regarding psychological preparation of athletes - get to know approaches which have to be adopted in order to build a sports team
