Learning Outcomes
he objectives of the course are: to introduce the sport of rhytmic gymnastics to the students, learn the basic movements of ballet and floor exercises, and learn the basic movements using rhythmic gymnastics apparatus: ball, rope, clubs, ribbon, hoop. In addition, the student will be introduced to the basics of choreography and movements, essential for teaching in the primary and secondary education. The students will learn how to develop the sense of rhythm, maximum psychomotor coordination and precision in young children.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to ballet, positions of feet and arms, basic movements and compositions using different musical instruments (hand-made). Rhythmic gymnastics in primary education. Bar exercises, dance movements, modern dance movements, flexibility exercises, warming-up in rhythmic gymnastics, free dancing with music in children, jumps and balance exercises, pirouettes (turns). Basic movements using rope exercises: Handling The technical figures may be made with the rope either taut or loose, with one or both hands, with or without change of hand. Basic movements using ball, throws with control and precision in the catches, figure eight, rolls. Playing with the ball and the rope in elementary school. Combinations with the two apparatus in the school settings.
