Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students are expected to
• cultivate their personal musical abilities on basic musical knowledge through the use of their voice as well as simple melodic and rhythmic musical instruments
• understand the theoretical axes of music pedagogics and the particularities of its approach in a school environment
• connect theory and practice through taking part in musical activities
• familiarize themselves with the design and organization of musical activities for school classes
Course Content (Syllabus)
Students undertake a practical training at a public or private pre-primary, primary or secondary education or other institution that produces musical education, which can be addressed to both children and adults.Practical training consists of the following activities of the students:
A. Monitoring and apprenticeship in the organization's administrative work and extra-teaching musical activities (celebrations, events);
B. Watching music class lessons
C. Micro-teaching within the course
D. The report / journal on the design and implementation of the above activities.
The hours that a student must accumulate in the institution are at least 15 hours/semester.
