Course Content (Syllabus)
1. Commercial Law (General Part) The course under the title "Commercial Law" address to students who are in the second semester as compulsory course. It is the first introductory course in the field of commercial law. The course aims to familiarize the students with the basic notions in the context of Greek Commercial Law and help them gain a first overall perception about these issues. This aim is best achieved through internships. The course includes the following teaching modules: a) Introduction to Commercial Law. Appearance and historical evolution of commercial law b) Systems of commerciality c) The notion of "objectively commercial transactions" and individual study of each of them according to the current Greek legislation d) The notion of "subjectively commercial transactions" and their legislative foundation e) The notion of merchant (conditions for the acquisition of commercial capacity, special cases of merchants, etc.) f) Legal consequences associated with carrying out commercial transactions or with the merchant legal status
